How to accessorize

From custom jewelry to fun wear, handbags to shoes, accessories make up the finished look. For an inexpensive look on a budget, try the small mini-mall shops, not big department stores. Smaller stores have fewer overheads than big shopping malls so they can keep their prices low.
Shoes can make or break a great look. Never be afraid of spending money on good shoes. If shoes fit well and look good, and can be worn all day, check other shoes by that designer, they may feel just as good.
Handbags or purses as accessories are a personal thing. While some may feel comfortable with a purse carried on the arm, most people will feel safer with one that goes over the shoulder and can be hugged close to the body.
Choosing jewelry as an accessory is easy! Jewelry should suit the style, the outfit and the mood of the wearer. Pair a great Bohemian look necklace with denim or a casual skirt. For weddings, make the look simple; don’t try to outdo the bride.
Even cell phones can be accessorized these days! Pink and blue or purple cases, little stars or studs to pretty up the phone, and bright colors and patterns on the phone itself! Cell phone charms don’t make the phone call cheaper, but they do draw the eye!
The new look of belts as accessories is in high fashion these days. All styles are trendy; elastic has come in again; fancy tie belts with fringes and tassels abound.
Hair accessories are hot! A few clips, combs and hairpieces can make a delightful hair do look truly special. Add some curling ribbon to a comb for a casual party look, or drape some ribbons from a ponytail. A small clip on hairpiece can really make a cool party look, held on to the hair with a flowery comb or another clip. Have fun this season!
