Hats went through a hard time a few years ago. Ladies stopped wearing them to church and men went through a phase where all they’d wear was a Stetson! Sadly, hats have become less worn, compared to the 40’s and 50’s when they were everyday accessories.Today, few milliners are making hats; most are selling ready made items instead of the fabulous affairs seen at the Derby or weddings. Can that be changed? Of course! Women still love the idea of accessorizing with a hat, and truth be told, it does finish off a special outfit. Take a look in the local department stores in the malls. Most will have a huge selection. Don’t be afraid to try on all shapes and styles. Not everyone can wear hats, so if they don’t look great, try another, or even forget the idea and go for hair decor instead. Hats are a wonderful accessory for weddings, tea parties, casual walks on the beach or in town, and even the simplest can be made to catch the eye.

Sometimes it happens that you can’t find the Gift that will really be appreciated by your beloved one and you are trying to search all the stores in hope that something will be found. The easiest option is to ask your better half what she wants to get as a present. But men do not look for easiest ways and besides if you want to make a surprise and to excite your spouse you should act on our own. So you are determined to find something that will be nice as a present. In this case you should keep in mind that all the women adore sweets, flowers and jewelry, of course! So sweets and flowers go here without a question but the major gift should be made of gold and diamonds. Also it is important to keep in mind that all women have recently become so environmentally-friendly that they might even reject the jewelry if they do not see the sign “eco-friendly jewelry” or “green jewelry”. Anyway, this is not funny as you know that green jewelry is “clean” – it means that no one has been tortured or killed because of it. The same even goes for eco-friendly engagement rings.

Just before you venture into your new life as a wife you have some time to spend with your friends at bachelorette parties and this better be a good time. There are many ways in which you can enjoy yourselves but it’s best to leave the preparations for somebody else – an expert party planner or a best friend.
Your imagination (and budget) is the only limit to the fun all of you can have. You can always go into drive in movies for an old-timer and see a movie that you all watched in high school or on your first date with the future hubbie. Or you can get some online wine and stay in for a quite and traditional party with lots of gossip and glamour. But a themed night with costumes, fireworks, surprises and competitions will work as well. You can have a photographer document this historical happening. After all you will look very different on your wedding day so this is a chance to go wild and show your fun and goofy side. Whatever you do, make sure the preparations don’t overshadow the event itself and you will turn out fresh and rested for the truly big day.

Couples would be glad to wear the contemporary pearl engagement rings not only because they are truly exquisite but also for the purposes of appreciating the history of their sources. If there were a way of nurturing several productive oysters and mussels in salt or fresh water bodies, then by all means everyone with special love for pearls would appreciate natural pearls. The jewelry people wear today follows the culturing discovery of the legendary Kokichi Mikimoto, a man who found a way of annoying almost extinct Oysters by inserting a bead inside their bodies. Naturally in the sea, they coat a sand grain or anything that accidentally falls in their shells with nacre (mother of the pearl) until it results to a lovely bead and this is what Kokichi Mikimoto imitated.
